Officer in Charge of Dunsborough Police, Sgt Craig Anderson, said that two 22-year-old men from the Australind-Eaton area had been charged with unlawful wounding and common assault, respectively, over the incident.
The men were due to appear in Busselton Magistrate’s Court on November 16.
The injured man, Shannon Hewitt, from Margaret River, is a licensed security guard.
Police understand that Mr Hewitt was kicked in the back in the incident. When he turned around he was hit in the face with a glass.
Sgt Anderson said that apart from scaring, there appeared to be no lasting injury from the incident.
Dunsborough police were called to the Wilyabrup winery over the incident.
