Busselton schools are having a ball

IF you’re thinking about booking a hair appointment between now and the weekend then it’s strongly suggested you reconsider.

Not because you don’t need one, but because there is probably very little chance of you getting an appointment, thanks to the Georgiana Molloy Anglican School and Busselton Senior High School balls on Friday and Saturday respectively.

GMAS’s ball will be at The Goose on Friday night, while BSHS will hold its at the Geographe Bay View Resort a day later, with the theme Arabian Nights.

And with the school ball season comes the question every student asks themselves – how will I arrive at my ball?

MacKillop already dazzled us with an array of unusual (and spectacular) arrivals, with probably the most interesting entrance coming from Rosie Haynes and Emily Lucavic who were delivered by sled dogs.

But GMAS and BSHS are not going to disappoint either, with some of the ideas being touted as possible ways to turn up that include a boat, a couch in the back of a ute, box cars (literally), tricycle and Rolls Royce.
