Mini celebration for golden anniversary

07 Oct, 2009 10:05 AM
LOCAL Mini owners celebrated the 50th anniversary of the Mini’s release by taking their cars on a tour of the South West.

They started in Busselton and drove about 1000kms, through Pemberton, Walpole, Denmark, Albany, Mt Barker, Bridgetown, Ferguson Valley and Bunbury.

Organiser David McFerran said: “I have been involved with Minis all my life. The trip was successful, it was great weather and we had minimal problems with the cars.”
