TEENAGERS heading down to the Dunsborough Leavers Zone may be disappointed to hear that the band headed up by Police Commissioner Karl O’Callaghan, will not be making an appearance this year.
The Filth was due to play a number of songs at the Leavers Zone on November 23 but the Mail was advised yesterday that the group had been pulled from the entertainment line-up.
Police spokesperson Neil Poh said that the Commissioner was very disappointed to pull out. “Due to some unforseen personal circumstances, The Filth has had to cancel its scheduled appearance at Leavers in Dunsborough this year,” he said.
“The Commissioner and other band members were very much looking forward to a return to Leavers Zone after such a great response last year. The Commissioner, extended his apologies for the late change but says it is unavoidable. He wishes all leavers visiting Dunsborough a safe and enjoyable celebration.”
