14 Oct, 2009 10:13 AM
AN 18-year-old Busselton man has been charged with grievous bodily harm following a brawl outside a local hotel, which resulted in a 38-year-old man being seriously injured and hospitalised.

Paul McDonald was treated at Busselton hospital and subsequently transferred to Royal Perth Hospital.

Busselton police said on Monday that Mr McDonald had come out of a coma but was suffering from a clot on the brain.

Blake Johnson, an unemployed labourer, was charged as a result of the incident. He appeared in Bunbury Magistrate’s Court and was released on a surety, pending further court listings.
