I RECENTLY went to the Westpac bank and deposited a cheque in the ATM.
The envelope containing the cheque became jammed in the device and the next person to use the ATM wound up with it in her hand, my fault entirely.
The lady concerned then took it to the police who took it to the bank and all is well.
Many thanks to the lady concerned, the police and the bank staff for their care and patience.
