Do ask when, and more importantly, what will it consist of – hopefully not just another launching pad for Bunbury and Perth hospitals.

Will it have cardiology, oncology, orthopaedics, stroke treatment and rehabilitation? Will it have an MRI machine and dialysis, ante natal, maternity and dental facilities?

So far it has been on the planning table for five years. Approaching the biblical three score years and ten, I can envisage seeing this hospital operation from my small, ashes-filled urn.
