MAY I, through your paper, thank the many people for their good wishes that I have received for my 90th birthday.
The article printed in the Mail was as big a shock to me, as was the news I had turned 90.
My sister and her husband, who now reside in Canada, are most impressed with the friendliness of the locals, as well as the beauty of the unadultered foreshore.
I know I usually write letters of complaint, but I have no complaints this time.
One of my friends commented that the heading should have been Community Relic - not Icon.
Thank you to everyone who contributed to the special day.
Jean MacBeth,
Dunsborough
