BUSSELTON Drive-in Outdoor Cinema is giving locals the opportunity to buy and sell unwanted goods at their second swap meet car boot sale on Sunday.
Drive-in co-owner Ron Jones said the event would be the second of its kind as the first one was held over the March long weekend.
“The first one was quite successful with lots of buyers,” he said.
“But this time we would love to see more sellers.”
Mr Jones said they chose to hold the car boot sale on the Sunday before Easter because it was the ideal time for people to clear out their sheds and houses.
“It’s like they say, one man’s trash is another man’s treasure,” he said.
“We hope that people take advantage of the opportunity so we can keep them going,” he said.
Mr Jones said the snack bar will be open throughout the day as well as the playground.
“And of course there will be plenty of parking,” he joked.
Sellers are encouraged to head down from 7am at $15 per car bay and buyers from 8am at $2 per car entry and for more information contact Mr Jones on 0408 933 556.
Mr Jones added that the Drive-in was expected to close permanently on the long weekend in June.
