IF YOU feel Busselton is a unique and diverse place to live you would be happy to know a renowned Australian brand agrees.
Residents will find eye wear retailer OPSM’s latest campaign features some familiar faces and locations.
The City of Busselton residents were chosen for the brands latest campaign for their diversity and beautiful faces, according to OPSM’s brand manager Meredith Jones.
Ms Jones said they wanted to capture a town that reflected the diversity of Australian nationalities and Busselton was identified as one of the most diverse towns in Australia.
“Busselton is home to a truly unique population who have varied occupations, lifestyles as well as breadth of characters and beautiful faces,” she said.
“We flew up for the shoot and were taken away by how beautiful the town was and the lovely people we met.”
City of Busselton Cultural Development Officer Jacquie Happ was involved in the process after a casting agent from Melbourne approached the City.
She said she contacted a number of people who had a multicultural look or were interesting characters and many of those auditioned ended up participating in the campaign.
Resident Joy Cohen and her family were some of the faces appearing in the campaign and said they loved the process and it was a great learning experience.
