GEOGRAPHE played the Dynamos on a 29 degree day and a tough contest was expected from the start.
The first division contest began with a well organised Dynamos outfit and Geographe’s pace thanks to Den Ham Harvey and John Roy.
But smart goalkeeping and stout defending kept them at bay early on.
Twenty minutes in a searing run from Harvey resulted in a penalty decision that seemed harsh on Dynamos but Mcfayden stepped up and gave the keeper no chance from the spot for the second week running.
Dynamos worked hard to get back in the game but Gepgraphe had a strong outfit playing the ball around with confidence as the game progressed, ten minutes before half time a quick one two resulted in Dynamos being breached again with Chris Godden smashing the ball high into the net leaving the keeper helpless.
Second half and Geographe looked a little off the pace for the first ten minutes, although still very organised at the back and Dynamos had long ranged efforts seen by keeper hall safely away from danger.
As the half progressed Geographe started to find space and 20 minutes in went three up with Craig Agar arriving late to stab home at the far post. Dynamos kept probing but Mark Ferguson and the Geographe defence stood firm and gave them nothing.
As the game began to slow with the heat Geographe’s slick passing game again proved Dynamos undoing with Roy scoring from close range.
The 4-0 score line was down to Geographe’s determination and with a week off for Easter they entertain Dayllelup at home next with confidence growing after two wins early on.
