TIME is running out to register for the first Wings for Life World Run on May 4.
With registrations closing on April 27, Jetts Gym manager Trish Breedon is urging everyone to get on board.
The Wings for Life World Run will involve 35 countries running at the same time and for the one cause.
All of the proceeds from the event will go to Wings for Life Foundation which funds research into spinal cord injury.
Breedon was excited for this world first event to Busselton and said she was trying to get as many people on board as possible.
“I love the idea that the whole world will be running at the same time, its so exciting,” she said.
Breedon has been involved in fun runs before but never an event as big as this.
“I’m not nervous at all, just excited,” she said.
While she is recovering from a knee injury Breedon has been training on the bike to keep her fitness levels up.
She has been able to gather up a team of 10 to 12 people from the gym and friends which will spur her on along the way.
