A YOUNG cyclist was hospitalised for a broken leg after being hit by a car at the Busselton Villas and Caravan Park on Saturday.
The incident occurred at 9am when two children were riding when one overtook the other and was hit by the vehicle.
The child was taken to Busselton Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
A 36-YEAR-OLD Busselton woman was arrested for the alleged assault on a police officer on April 17.
The incident occurred at 5.15pm when the officer was conducting a welfare check at an address on Bussell Highway.
Police said the woman was previously issued a move on notice which she had breached, striking the officer in the face causing a laceration to the lip whilst being placed under arrest.
The woman was charged with alleged disorderly conduct at a police station, breach of a police order and assault on a police officer.
She was detained in custody and is due to appear in court.
BUSSELTON Boulevard Shopping Centre was targeted yesterday between 6 and 7am when damage was caused to a rear window of a bakery.
No entry was gained and nothing was reported stolen.
A FOCUS brand mountain bike which was leaning on a caravan at Kookaburra Caravan Park in Busselton was stolen.
The theft occurred at 11pm on April 20 and the bike is described as black and silver in colour.

The witness pursued the men and they were last seen on College Avenue.
A 23-YEAR-OLD Capel man had his vehicle impounded for 28 days after he was charged with having no authority to drive.
Police stopped his Holden commodore sedan on Fairway Drive on April 20 at 5.30pm when they discovered that he was under demerit point suspension.
A SECOND man also had his vehicle impounded for 28 days after police observed him driving without a seatbelt.
The man was pulled over on Adelaide Street at midday on April 19 when police discovered he wasn’t authorised to drive and was subsequently charged.
