Nova has pipped 97.3FM to win the Brisbane radio ratings, while 4BC's line-up change continues to pay dividends for the talk station.
The second GFK ratings survey of 2014 shows Nova 106.9 recording a 12.9 per cent total audience share across Monday to Friday, while last survey winner 97.3FM dropped from 13.3 to 12.5 per cent.
Nova's trio of Ash, Kip and Luttsy also won the key breakfast slot, recording a 1.2 per cent jump to 12.3 per cent, ahead of 612 ABC's Spencer Howson on 12 per cent.
Last survey breakfast winner 97.3FM suffered a drop from 12.2 to 11.6 per cent to come in third place.
Triple M recorded the biggest overall drop in listeners, with its audience share falling from 10.4 to 8.6 per cent.
Its Southern Cross Austereo stablemate B105 remained steady, with just a 0.1 per cent gain from 10.8 to 10.9 per cent to remain in third position.
Commercial talkback station 4BC (owned by Fairfax Media, publisher of brisbanetimes.com.au) increased its total audience share from 6.1 to 6.8 per cent.
4BC overhauled its line-up for 2014, and the partnership of Ian Skippen and Loretta Ryan is proving successful in the breakfast timeslot.
The pair's audience share has jumped from 6.9 per cent to 8 per cent, closing the gap on rival 4KQ (8.5 per cent).
The station's other new hosts – Patrick Condren, Michael Price and Clare Blake, and Ben Davis – also recorded modest gains across the mornings, afternoon and drive shifts.
4BC, Nova 106.9 and the ABC gained daytime listeners at the expense of Triple M and 97.3FM.
