Two men have used a knife and a syringe to threaten a supermarket employee in Carlisle on Wednesday night.
WA Police media spokeswoman Susan Usher said the staffer was threatened with the weapons at 8pm when he confronted two men about shoplifting.
The men then left in a blue vehicle which police believed may have been a Ford Falcon.
