BUSSELTON Bowling Club will see some considerable change after the conclusion of its summer season.
The committee will have a new look with members standing down, while a vote will be held to decide selectors positions after more nominations than required.
Elizabeth Thomas will be the club’s new vice-president while Jennie Bruce will become the ladies director.
Ladies captain Shirley Silverman and vice-captain Judy Rice also join the committee along with Lyn Burrows and Di Fancote.
The catering director has not been determined, however interest has been expressed by several people, while the May 21 annual general meeting will decide who becomes club selectors.
The club will also undergo some renovation works and will be closed for several days to allow for roof maintenance.
Competition has concluded for the summer season with 31 ladies turning out for the last afternoon of play.
Two games of fours were enjoyed by all on a relaxed and sunny day which ended with a social afternoon tea.
An event which saw 32 New Zealand players take on 32 locals also marked the final weekend of the summer season.
A commencement date for the winter season will be announced once the maintenance work has been completed.
