LOCAL youth group Southern Rip, has put together Fluronic Beatz V4, an underage rave on Saturday.
The rave is open to 13-17 years and entry for this age group will be strictly monitored.
“Fluronic Beatz V4 is a NO TOLERANCE smoke, drug and alcohol-free event,” operations manager for the event, Caroline Beamond, said.
“Anyone who is under the influence or is found in possession of restricted substances will be denied entry.
“Our priority is to stage an enjoyable and safe event for all participants.
“We are asking parents to pick up and drop off their children for safety reasons.
“There will be security and random age checks at the door, so it is advisable for children to bring a source of ID, such as a Smart Rider,” Caroline said.
It is a ‘no pass out’ event, so if attendees leave the venue for any reason, they will be refused re-entry.
Tickets are available for pre-purchase from Blue 62 in Busselton for $12.
Only limited door sales are available.
Southern Rip meet every Wednesday at the Busselton Youth and Community Centre, and organise upcoming events.
All youth are welcome to be part of Southern Rip youth leadership team which meets on a fortnightly basis at the Community Youth Centre in Busselton.
By organising music events, youth battle of the bands and regular social activities, the group gives young people the opportunity to develop their skills in the music event industry, in areas such as operations, administration, production, publicity, marketing and venue management, as well as the more artistic areas.
