DUNSBOROUGH playing fields netball courts are to be named after one of the town’s netball stalwarts Sharyn (Shaz) Barratt.
The decision was made at the last council meeting and the city will host a small function to officially name the courts in conjunction with the Coasters Netball Club and Naturaliste Sportsman’s Club who made a joint submission for the courts to be named after Shaz.
Shaz has been involved in netball in the Dunsborough community for more than 28 years, starting as a foundation member and she continues to be an active member of the netball club.
