ALL ratable properties in the Busselton city are set to get an $80 waste disposal charge.
The new charge has been recommended by the city’s finance committee and will be considered by the council next week.
The report to council said it was seeking council endorsement for the permanent introduction of a new waste disposal charge on all ratable properties (including rural and vacant land) to fund significant costs associated with future waste management.
It has also been recommended in a separate item that those not eligible for a bin collection service be issued with six free tip passes and those in the prescribed area continue to get two.
