POLICE are concerned over recent burglaries at building sites.
Two houses at the lock-up phase of construction were burgled on Thursday evening or early Friday morning.
Thieves gained access to a Cambridge Boulevard house in Abbey through a locked service door from the garage.
A stainless-steel wall oven, rangehood, hotplate and bathroom fixtures were stolen.
A house on Billabong Street, Yalyalup was also robbed on the same night.
Again thieves accessed the house through a locked garage door and stole a hot-water system, oven and rangehood.
Police are urging people to keep an eye out and report any unusual behaviour around building sites.
“We are urging people to watch out for people at houses under construction at unusual times, or people removing items,” Senior Sergeant Steve Principe said.
If you see anything unusual call Busselton Police on 9754 9555 or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
