Start your swapping

FOR those of you looking to get rid of those maybe-one-day garments, then it is time to clean out the closet and make room for something new, in a charity afternoon that will spruce up your wardrobe.

The third annual Swap ‘n’ Raise will be held on Sunday July 29 from 2pm at the Dunsborough Country Club.

All you need to do is deliver your freshly laundered and pressed garments by July 23, and on the day you will be able to take home as many new items from the Swap ‘n’ Raise as you donated.

In addition to the swap option, there will also be “pop-up-shops” to purchase from, featuring local boutiques and designers, including Fusion Blue, Evolution Surf, Bathing Beauty and Varda Childrenswear to name a few.

In the luxury lounge you can enjoy a glass of bubbles while being pampered by one of the team from Lauren Wood Passion for Hair, and Tip To Toe House of Polish.

The bar will be open, and there will be food stalls brimming with local delicacies from Tealicious, Samudra, Margaret River Woodfired Pizzeria and many more, plus local band Soul Survivors will be providing live entertainment.

Tickets are just $20, with all proceeds being donated to St John Ambulance and Regional Kids.

To purchase your tickets and clothes drop off details, contact event organisers CJ Robinson on 0406 347 152, swapnraise@hotmail.com or Kate Dennis on 0438 554 043, or go online to www.zeststyling.com.au

This year’s Swap ‘n’ Raise will be “bigger and better”, according to CJ.

“Whether you have something to swap, or want to pick up something new, it’s a great girl’s afternoon out with champagne, fashion and entertainment.”
