Geographe ladies impressive win

IN a fixture that, on paper, looked one of the hardest ahead of the Geographe girls before the season’s end, a spirited performance from the ladies saw them home quite comfortably in the end.

After gifting the opposition an opening goal within the first two minutes of the game, the attitude beyond the first 15 minutes of the game was noticeable and the game gradually came within Geographe’s grasp.

Two fine finishes from Elisha Saltarini prior to the break meant Geographe were on top and had the upper hand as the second half commenced.

Some stout defending for the first part of the second half and committed tacking frustrated the Dynamos, who were highlighting why they have a lofty position on the table, although the Geographe goalkeeper was very rarely troubled.

Fifteen minutes from time, some fine unselfish work from Elisha Saltarini in squaring for Katrina Breen put the game beyond reach.

That goal settled the matter and sent the points home with the Geographe girls.

Next week’s game with local rivals Busselton looks as though it will be a cracker and Geographe fully expect a hard game.

Bayview Resort best on ground was Chloe Marlow.
