THE Lion’s Club of Busselton has made a generous donation to a local family in need.
The Monk family received a Thermomix for their nine-year-old wheelchair-bound daughter Clair who has only ever been able to eat pureed food.
“The Thermomix has made cooking and pureeing Clair’s foods much easier as it cooks, purees to the fine consistency that she needs,” Sharon Monk said.
“Time is always in short supply, so we are extremely grateful to the Lions for donating such a valuable time saving device.”
The Monk family extended a sincere thank you to Thermomix consultant Heidi Cheffers, Rosemary Kelman for initially approaching the Lions for the Thermomix and the Lion’s Club of Busselton.
