WHAT do you get when you mix imagination with historical facts? The Busselton Repertory Club’s latest stage show Aspects of War.
Co-written by Marj Evans for a cast of 25 the musical will showcase different aspects from both sides of World War 1 and 2.
“It is mainly but is supported by actual events, letters, and radio announcements from the era,” Evans said.
“Thirty songs add to the entertainment and we have grown to expect amazing backdrops and costumes.
“Busselton Repertory Club and its members take pleasure in bringing you a home grown production to delight your senses.”
Cast member Terry Thompson said audiences could expect a unique experience.
“It should appeal to the young and the old with the mix of historical facts and emotive music,” he said.
“Plus in this year of the commemoration of the 100 years of the European aspect it really is a great way to appreciate on a personal level and share the experience with other people in a theatre environment.”
Aspects of War will be showing on Friday August 1 at 7.30pm, Saturday August 2 at 7.30pm, Sunday August 3 at 4pm, Friday August 8 at 7.30pm, Saturday August 9 at 7.30pm, Sunday August 10 at 4pm, Friday August 15 at 7.30pm and Saturday August 16 at 7.30pm.
