STUDENTS at Geographe Primary School have been enjoying their outdoor classroom which has proven to have importance across a range of aspects including repairing remnant bush and improving the habitat of the Ringtail Possum population.
The project also provides practical implementation of the new National Australian Curriculum in subjects including history, science, visual arts and the capabilities of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander histories, communities and sustainability.
More than 350 students planted 1200 local species plants that are imperative for rehabilitation of bushland.
The latest lot of planting was made possible by the generous support of Bunnings Busselton for donating the planting equipment.
