SOUTH West residents who love a challenge will be looking forward to Saturday’s Mudfest event.
The weather will make the day even more interesting with the Bureau of Meteorology's prediction of 16 degrees with a chance of showers and a storm .
Held at Margaret River’s Bootleg Brewery the day will have a 12 kilometre and five kilometre course.
Starting at 8am is The Dirty Dozen long course which will your fitness, endurance and skill.
With a Bootleg burger and beer included in the registration means once you have completed the course you can celebrate.
The course is aimed for people aged 15 and over with a moderate to high fitness level.
Then at 1pm athletes will take on the Mud Mayhem short course.
While the distance is shortened the 25 obstacles are just as tough including tractor tyres, bird netting, dam runs, beer kegs and lots of mud.
There will also be prizes for the fastest male and female for each course, providing extra incentive to work harder.
