THE Retravision Seasiders are team full of confidence as they remain unbeaten in their quest for silverware.
Geographe took on Capel on Sunday who did their best to stop the Seasiders who are having their best season yet.
Geographe’s pace was causing all sorts of problems for Capel in the first 15 minutes as they looked like they were chasing shadows.
Chris Godden was in the mood to run at defenders and went close early on.
Capel’s defence was undone by Alan Dowling probing in the box to square for Kell Fisher to finish it off from close range.
The Seasiders were in total control at the 22 minute mark after Godden got his first for the match.
The next half an hour saw Capel chase the game and stem the flow of Geographe’s chances and produce a real gutsy performance.
Capel got a goal just before the break to remind Geographe they were still in the game and the sides went in 2-1 at half time.
Geographe went back to their best in the second half, probing and creating chance after chance.
Dowling was causing havoc and combining well with Denham Harvey.
Harvey got the next goal and this seemed to put the game beyond Capel’s tired legs.
Matty Hemblem made it 4-1 with a clinical finish on 62 minutes and the Seasiders were heading to another win.
Substitute Jonno Roy added a fifth on the 83rd min mark and it was definitely game over.
The Retravision Seasiders player of the day was the outstanding Chris Godden who is such a class act. The Seasiders face Collie away next week in what will be another tough game as Collie’s results have been improving of late.
