CAPE Naturaliste Scout hall members celebrated a very special occasion on July 20.
Two young members were presented with the highest award in the Scout section, Scout Medallion.
To win the prestigious awards, Jarrod Weston and Sarah Smith spent 15 nights camping in a tent, plan and undertake a 30kilometre hike and teach other scout members how to tie knots, lashings and survival skills.
The pair has passed three major target badges including Pioneer, Explorer and Adventurer.
Jarrod and Sarah will move on from their scouting days and become Venturers.
