THE exciting combination of showcasing local talent, luxurious prizes and quirky stalls should see an upcoming fashion show be the go-to event for fashion lovers this Saturday.
The Georgiana Molloy Anglican School fashion parade is in its fourth year and is set to be another success with the help of students, staff, parents and local businesses.
This year’s models will be selected from year 11 and 12 students as well as teachers and parents.
Echo clothing will choreograph the catwalk and VET students will do the hair and make up under the supervision of Busselton Price Attack and parent Steph Garcia.
Funds raised from the evening will go towards the parents and friends association’s purchase of a school bus.
The night will have a vintage theme and people are encouraged to embrace it by dressing up.
Neen Dixon from Miss LaLa Vintage will be awarding a prize for best dressed.
Students have organised a photo booth with vintage props.
There will be lucky dip bags worth $5 which will see some lucky winners receiving boutique, beauty or massage vouchers.
People are encouraged to bring spare change to make the most of the stalls which include a lipstick touch up or powdered eyebrow stall, home made fudge, samples from catwalk designers clothing range, artisan crafted jewellery, soy candles in soda glasses and much more.
The jewellery and clothing to be showcased includes Rachael Prideaux, Echo Clothing, Lulu and Vee, Sally Young, Gold Fever Vintage, Bunbury Felters and Jasmine Nielson.
Tickets are $20 which includes a high tea and doors open at 6pm with the show starting at 7pm.
