DUNSBOROUGH police has thanked the community for its cooperation and success with its new ewatch page.
After a month of the ewatch page running it has seen more than 180 subscribers.
Police said due to the cooperation from the community there had been a significant drop in stealing and burglary in the last two weeks.
“The community really are our eyes and ears and we encourage anyone to call and report anything they feel is out of place or doesn't seem right,” Dunsborough officer in charge Peter Bahen said.
Dunsborough police have made two significant arrests after a spate of car break stealings and burglaries.
A 17-year-old male has been charged after six iPads were found at Broadwater address.
The iPads were stolen from the Dunsborough Primary School over a month ago.
Dunsborough police have arrested a 16-year-old male for aggravated burglary and stealing after forensic evidence showed he was responsible for breaking into the Dunsborough Lakes Caravan Park kiosk and taking 80 packets of cigarettes.
There have also been a number of arrests resulting from community information.
A Misuse of Drugs Act search warrant was executed at an address on Caves Road, Quindalup after police received anonymous information from a member of the public.
Police seized two grams of amphetamines with a street value of $1000.
A 46-year old male has been charged with possess a prohibited drug and possess drug paraphenalia and will face the Busselton Magistrates Court in August.
A 33-year old female had her vehicle seized after it was reported she was driving erratically in Dunsborough Lakes.
The female was located and stopped by police near the skate park.
After a breath test she had a blood alcohol reading in excess of .08 percent.
She was also driving with a suspended driver's license and will face Busselton Magistrates Court in August.
