OFF the back of Busselton’s iconic CinefestOZ Film Festival, Orana Cinemas will run a Spring Selection Festival commencing on Thursday August 28.
Orana Cinemas Kalgoorlie manager Diane Norbury said the festival would showcase predominantly non-commercial art house films.
“It’s an introduction to what Orana Cinemas hope to get more into early next year,” she said.
“There are some really good films with more screening sessions on offer.”
Ms Norbury said she had seen a real demand and market for the art house films.
Six films will be screening throughout the festival including Calvary, Charlie’s Country, Entertainment, Sunshine on Leith, Fading Gigolo and A Most Wanted Man.
Festival passes to see all six films can be purchased at the venue for $42 before August 29.
