THE Busselton Magpies Football Club league side is now looking to the finals with optimism after overcoming Carey Park at home on Saturday night.
Busselton was strong in a game where the tipsters were against them, causing an upset win of 11.9.75 to 10.7.67.
Unfortunately the reserves side wasn’t so lucky, falling to Carey Park who sits on top of the ladder by 56 points.
The final score read 7.6.48 to 15.14.104.
The colts side claimed the biggest victory of the night with a 134 point belting of the Panthers.
Busselton had 39 scoring shots to finish 22.17.149 to 2.3.15 victors.
The Magpies will join the Eaton Boomers as the only club with all three sides participating in the finals series.
