IT has been a busy August and September for the Dunsborough police with a number of arrests.
Two local male juveniles were charged after they allegedly stole 26 iPads from Dunsborough Primary School.
It’s alleged the males smashed a window to gain entry to the science block, removed the 26 iPads and left the school.
The pair allegedly made their way to Norfolk Street, checking parked cars along the way.
It is alleged the pair discovered a Mitsubishi Triton Utility parked at a premises with the keys in the ignition.
The pair stole the ute and drove it to Kwinana Train Station where it was recovered at a later date.
The pair were charged with aggravated burglary, stealing and steal motor vehicle. Both youths will front the Busselton Childrens Court in September.
Dunsborough police have also been undergoing regular vehicle stops over the last month.
Last week during a vehicle stop two men were found in possession of 150 ecstasy tablets with a street value of $6000 and $2,500 in cash.
Both males have been released to bail and will appear at the Busselton Magistrates Court at a later date.
A Holden Clubsport was stopped on Busselton Bypass and the driver was found in possession of 23 grams of cannabis, scales, clip seal bags and a smoking implement.
He was charged with possessing a prohibited drug with intent sell and supply and possessing smoking implement.
The police are also asking for help in relation to stolen bank card which was used at liquor store.
Police believe the man pictured knows about vehicle theft which resulted in a bank card being used at a liquor store.
Local police are also investigating a graffiti offence that occurred at The Lady of the Cape Primary School.
The unknown offender used black paint to damage walls and other property items around the school.
In other news, Dunsborough police have welcomed a new police officer.
First Class Constable Amanda Price has returned to duty after taking maternity leave.
She prides herself on being community minded and is keen to get involved in local events and sporting teams.
