IT was not the Robins Hockey Club's day on Saturday when they lost to Associates in the South West Hockey Association grand final.
Robins were on top of the ladder for most of the season but missed their opportunities to seal the grand final win.
They were quick out of the gates in the first half with a goal in the first few minutes.
However, Robins lost their domination and Associates hit two goals before half time.
The Associates' defence was under immense pressure in the second half with the Robins having three penalty shots for goal.
Unfortunately the Robins were unable to convert their opportunities to make it count on the scoreboard.
The score did not change from half time with the Associates taking out the win.
