Following the success of last year’s Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, the students from West Busselton Primary School are preparing for their next performance.
Kids in Camelot will take a futuristic perspective on the fantasy town as a boy from the present travels back in time to change Camelot of the past.
Directed by Drama teacher Chris Bradford and with the assistance of parents and staff, the play has been put together in only one term.
“We take pride in the fact it was put together in only eight weeks,” said director Chris Bradford,
“We have very high quality performances”.
The students from year group’s four to seven are involved in every aspect of the production, acting as performers, sound crew, lighting crew, helping with backdrop changes and as ushers on the night.
Whether the boy is successful in changing history we’ll soon find out.
Kids in Camelot had performances yesterday and on Tuesday with one final show tonight in the Undercover Area at West Busselton Primary School.
The Tuesday performance is at 11am while the Wednesday and Thursday shows are at 7.30pm.
