The Retravision Seasiders traveled to Capel on the last league outing of the year on Sunday for a stand off that could have resulted in a win for either team.
The game was immense, with nine goals being scored during the topsy turvey fixture.
Capel took an early lead, causing the Seasiders to claw their way back into the game as the home side proved to be dangerous.
Capel stole a worthy lead in the second half, with Geographe levelling the playing field soon after despite the Seasiders issues with the pitch not suiting their play.
Geographe shortly took the lead with 4-3, but Capel weren’t going to give in that easily, responding five minutes later with a stunning goal that again levelled the playing field.
The drama continued as Geographe pushed towards the goals, luring the Capel keeper out of the box.
Geographe finally proved successful after a Capel defender inexplicably handled the ball in the last few minutes, causing an on the spot kick that sealed the victory for Geographe Seasiders.
The result meant championship winners Geographe made a clean sweep of the season with 21 games undefeated.
The final test for the team shall be at the Southwest Cup Final next weekend.
