Traffic cop to face Mandurah court today.
Internal Affairs officers have charged a police officer from the Traffic Enforcement Group with two counts of unlawful use of a computer.
Lloyd Derek Whiteford made a brief appearance in court and spoke only to confirm his name before he fled to the sanctity to the nearby Mandurah Police Station.
It will be alleged the offences were committed between February 26, 2014 and April 27, 2014.
The 45-year-old male officer was remanded to reappear in Mandurah Magistrates Court on October 17.
Mr Whiteford remains at Traffic Enforcement Group in a fully operational capacity.
