JUST before the recent school holidays, Aviation students from Georgiana Molloy Anglican School were invited to meet RAAF pilots who flew into Busselton.
With six advanced trainer planes flying over head into the airport, landing in formation, it was quite a sight to behold.
The pilots invited the students into the aircraft where they were talked through the control system, as well as all questions directed to the pilots by students.
The visit was part of the school’s aviation program.
Some graduate students of GMAS have even gone on to become commercial pilots and aeronautical engineers after participating in the program.
One of the RAAF pilots on the day was a graduate from Australind Senior High School’s aviation program which gave students a fantastic look into the prospects of completing the program.
