IT’s not everyday you are greeted at your bank by tellers dressed in pink from head-to-toe.
But that’s exactly what Busselton Commonwealth Bank customers were greeted with on Friday.
As part of Breast Cancer Awareness Month, the branch held a pink themed morning tea with all funds raised going towards the Breast Cancer Institute of Australia.
Branch manager Natasha Palmer said the local team was proud to be supporting the BCIA and mentioned a special thank you to Samovar café for providing the memorable cake and Lindsey’s 4 Lunch for the catering.
“Each of us knows a woman who has been affected by breast cancer and she could be your wife, sister, daughter, colleague or friend,” she said.
CommBank have been proud supporters of the Breast Cancer Institute of Australia since 1995.
The Busselton branch will continue to sell the 2015 Australian Women’s Heath Diary which is a major fundraiser for the BCIA.
