The black Nissan Coupe travelling at 170 kilometers in a 110 kilometer zone has been impounded for 28 days.
Margaret River police allegedly stopped a 35 year old man on Bussell Highway for reckless driving on Saturday afternoon.
Police said the Waneroo man was travelling 45 kilometres over the speed limit when he went through a speed camera set up on Bussell Highway near Metricup Road.
The black Nissan Coupe was stopped by police near the intersection of Bussell Highway and Osmington Road in Margaret River.
The driver will appear in court.
