The annual Golf Croquet Singles Championships was held over September and October.
Fortunately wet weather did not hold up the proceedings and all the games went to plan.
Competition was reasonably fierce but in a very relaxed fun filled way which ensured all players whether they won or lost a game enjoyed playing.
The overall winner was Tony Heatley with runner up Keith Sims losing by one hoop.
The club welcomes people to come and try croquet which is not strenuous but very skilful, rewarding and lots of fun.
New players are given tuition and with loan mallets can begin playing virtually straight away.
Tuesday and Thursday mornings are the current playing days but the club is starting Saturday morning games for people who work during the week but would like to try croquet. Ring the club president John Boucher on 0427 540 595
