A SECURITY officer at the Parks Centre in Carey Park has been bashed after she questioned a couple on Thursday afternoon.
Police are seeking the public’s assistance in finding the people responsible for the assault which occurred between 3pm and 4pm yesterday, Thursday October 23.
It is alleged a couple entered the Coles supermarket and were acting suspiciously, concealing items inside a backpack.
When they left the supermarket the centre’s security guard questioned the couple over their behaviour.
They became aggressive and it is alleged they punched the female officer several times before leaving the scene.
