Thousands of people lined the streets of Albany as World War I commemorations got under way on Saturday morning.
Twitter and other social media outlets lit up with pictures of the Troop March which got under way at 9am.
Among those taking part in the parade are representatives of the Australian and New Zealand Defence Forces and veterans.
November 1 2014 is the 100th anniversary of Anzac troops sailing out of Albany bound for Gallipoli.
Among the other events scheduled for Saturday are a commemorative service in Anzac Parade, a re-enactment of the WW1 fleet leaving Albany Port around 1pm and the official opening of the National Anzac Centre on Forts Road overlooking King George Sound.
Tourism WA calculates that around 75,000 people have flooded the town to see the various commemorative events scheduled over the weekend.
