A RIDE to help sick children and their families will be taking place on Thursday November 20 in an effort to raise funds for the Ronald McDonald House.
There will be 30 riders participating in a 400 kilometre bike ride through the scenic South West from Bridgetown to Perth, travelling over four days.
Busselton McDonald’s franchisee John Frankham will be riding for the third year in a row and will be passing through the town on Thursday.
Last year he rode with Busselton boy Ethan Lauro who knows first hand the help Ronald McDonald House provides.
This year Ethan will be cheering the riders along when they reach Busselton around 12.30pm on Thursday.
His mother Cassandra has urged everyone to dig deep and donate to the great cause by comeing along to Busselton’s Mcdonald’s to support the riders.
The ride will raise funds for the construction of a new, larger Ronald McDonald House to provide a home for regional families whilst their children are undergoing treatment in Perth.
