A GROUP of students from South Halls Head Primary School have given up their lunch times to play in the school band.
The year six and seven students were invited to join the band so they could have fun and play at the school disco this Friday night.
Some of the students already know how to play an instrument, while others took lessons.
The band will play well-known tracks as well as some debut songs from some of the students.
Music specialist Rose Brown said it is an opportunity to come together and have fun.
“The students gave up their time and it shows them what is possible and how you can come together as friends,” she said.
