Gremlins chomped their way into a new ticketing system for PIAF outdoor cinema tickets this week in Perth and Joondalup.
Patrons fumed in queues as staff frantically sought to get everybody ticketed and seated at Somerville and ECU Joondalup.
Affected screeenings included The Dark Horse and Human Capital.
Some vented their frustration on Twitter like Uncle Buck who tweeted, "I prefer my picnic inside the Somerville, not in the ticket queue" and another who said "The new ticketing system is so complicated. Thumbs down".

@perth_festival great movie at Joondalup last night but the new ticketing system is so disappointingly complicated. Thumbs down! — veronicagaye (@veronicagaye)

Perth International Arts Festival Marketing Director Brad Martin said that patrons had, unfortunately, experienced delays due to a new ticketing system.
"We did have a rough introduction on Monday and Tuesday, but we've been working to iron out the bugs," he said.
"The new system is based around a ticketing option that is screen and venue specific and guarantees entry. That sits alongside the existing fully flexible option that can be used at either venue at any screening on a first-come, first-served basis," he said.
Mr Martin said that the new system catered for patrons who wanted the certainty of a place at a screening.
"We've, basically, got two types of patrons who are evenly divided on their preference. We've sought to address that for them."
He said that patrons could now also print out tickets at home or use barcode scanning software with their mobile phones.
Torrential rain washed out screenings on Wednesday.
