OUT of 204 random breath tests in Busselton over the weekend only one woman was charged for drink driving.
The checks were part of a campaign targeting the prevention of traffic fatalities.
Busselton police sergeant Todd Carrington said it was a good time to conduct the operation as it was a busy weekend for Busselton roads.
“The results are relatively pleasing but we are still concerned about the amount of motorcycle fatalities happening,” Sgt Carrington said.
“Over the festive period the area will be flooded with police and drivers should expect to be stopped for random breath tests at any time.”
Other traffic infringements included seven people given a court notice, two un-roadworthy cars and 15 cautions.
