Viewers in Britain have been confronted with the image of a moped colliding with a pedestrian crossing a street on live TV.
ITV reporter Ria Chatterjee was doing a piece-to-camera about travel difficulties in London in front of St Pancras underground station, with the camera taking in the street scene behind her.

Framed directly in the shot was the image of a man crossing the street, who notices a moped approaching him before it hits him, knocking both the pedestrian and driver over.
Chatterjee was unware of the accident unfolding behind her. She later tweeted that both the pedestrian and motorists were uninjured.
The pedestrian and motorcyclist who collided during my live broadcast at St Pancras Stn are both fine. — Ria Chatterjee (@RiaChatter)
