The Busselton Festival closing night concert attracted huge numbers to the foreshore on Sunday night.
Up to 15,000 visitors and residents set up camp to watch the crowning of the festival queens, the burning of the spirit and the fireworks.
Busselton resident and Lions Club queen entrant Brooke Chatfield won the Festival Queen title and Danica Baesjou from the Rotary Club of Busselton and Geographe Bay was awarded the Charity Queen title.
Both queens won $1200 worth of travel vouchers and raised funds for their community group.
Geographe Visitor Centre artist Mark Everton assembled the four metre high burning spirit which made a spectacular blaze.
Festival president Mike Berfon said the event was massive.
“I've never seen so many people it really was a huge success this year,” Mr Berfon said.
