A MAN wanted for numerous burglaries and theft charges throughout the South West region was arrested by Bunbury detectives on Monday afternoon.
Samuel Donald Ford, 20, was arrested at a South Bunbury house on Jarvis Street at 4pm on March 2.
Among other offences, the Mt Barker man was wanted by Busselton Police for stealing an off-road motorbike which was recovered during a raid last week.
The Yamaha bike was stolen from a Lindberg Hill Road property in Bovell late last month.
Busselton Police Senior Sergeant Steve Principe said the thief broke into the property between 2pm and 3pm on February 20 through a fly screen and rummaged through belongings before stealing an iPad and the motorbike.
Senior Sergeant Steve Principe said a few days after the bike was taken Ford was seen with it outside a supermarket.
The bike was then found on February 23 when police searched a Melville Court property in Geographe.
A 46-year-old woman was also charged after police uncovered knuckle dusters, a home made dagger and machete at the home.
She was charged with unlawful possession of the prohibited weapons.
